It's all in a days work...
If you see me coming...don't answer the door
So most of you know, those that actually read my blog, that I've taken on job! A super fun, super easy and it's super adventerous! I'm a Process Server for the Constables Office with a wicked PI badge to boot! I love it, my kids hate it and Dan tolerates it!
This is an e-mail I had to send to the "Boss" of an adventure I had today!
The names have been changed to protect the guilty...I mean innocent!
Hi "Boss",
I went to serve "John Doe" tonight (07/26/2009 20:35.) I knocked on the door and rang the doorbell a few times, at least 5 minutes.
I looked up and sitting at the top of the stairs was a man trying to hide, in his underware. He saw me looking at him so I knocked and rang again and once he made eye contact with me I waved and waved and rang and rang and knocked and knocked untill he finally came down to the door.
After he opened the door I asked if he was "John Doe." He said "No". I asked if John was home he said "No." I asked the man if he lived at the home, he said he is just "visiting/staying with a friend." I asked if John lived at the home, he said he didn't know who lived at the home. I asked what the name of his friend that was letting him stay at the house, he said he didn't know. I then asked again if he was John Doe, he said "No" again.
I told him that the 123 Maple home belonged to John Doe...he said he didn't know whose home it was.
I asked what his name was, he said "Joe, and that's enough." I then asked him once more with my very best frown/smile, "Are you really John Doe?" he said no.
Hmmmm....
He didn't know John Doe,
He didn't know whose home it was.
He didn't know what his friends name that he was visiting/staying with
and he was in nothing but his underware....
Maybe I should have called the POLICE!

With the click of the mouse....
Just a little funny I need to share....I just took a little gander on my netflix to see what would be in the mail tomorrow and guess what I found? Someone hi-jacked my netflix. Well 2 little someones, Jake and his "silent partner" Koda. The two little stinkers added over 60 movies...between Teressa (aka Broadhead rentals) and myself, we own all but 1 of them! So when I asked Jake why he did that his response was "because I like movies mom!"
What will they think of next?
